Air Scrubber Repair

Air scrubbers are reliable, but like any HVAC accessory, they can fail due to age, electrical issues, or component wear. We provide full-service air scrubber repair for all major brands and models.

Common Air Scrubber Issues We Repair:

No power or unresponsive unit
UV or photocatalytic lamp failure
Weak or inconsistent purification output
Indicator lights not functioning
Excessive HVAC system dust buildup
Strange odors coming from ductwork
Electrical or wiring problems

If your home isn’t smelling clean like it used to — or allergy symptoms are returning — your air scrubber may need service.

Emergency repair services available

If your air scrubber is part of a health-sensitive environment (elderly residents, children with asthma, etc.), we prioritize your appointment.

Air Scrubber Maintenance

Routine maintenance ensures your air scrubber continues to work at maximum efficiency. Because many systems rely on UV or photocatalytic technology, they require periodic replacement of key components.

Our Air Scrubber Maintenance Includes:

Inspecting electrical connections
Testing purification output
Cleaning internal components
Checking HVAC airflow
Replacing UV lamps (typically every 12–24 months)
Cleaning catalyst cells (if applicable)
Ensuring proper installation placement
Checking for microbial buildup in ductwork

Signs Your Air Scrubber Needs Maintenance:

Reduced air freshness
Strong odors returning
Increased dust in the home
Allergy symptoms worsening
Indicator light changes or warnings
UV bulb failure
Regular maintenance keeps your system working like new.

We install leading high-efficiency brands built for Long Island winters.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolute Air & Power did an outstanding job on the installation of my replacement air conditioning system. We have been using them for over 10 years. Tom and his team were great to work with. The technicians were professional, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Tom took the time to answer all my questions. Highly recommend Absolute Air & Power for anyone looking for quality workmanship and reliable service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A day after we closed on our house at the end of June, our central air unit crashed out. I called Tom that afternoon and he came first thing the next morning. Although not great news having to buy an entirely new central air system, Tom and his team made it happen in less than 5 days - not to mention during a heat wave! Couldn’t recommend them enough, will definitely be using them for future mishaps!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am beyond happy with the service I received from Tom and his team at Absolute Air & Power! From the first call I made to set up an estimate, to the estimate, to installation today everything was great! Everyone was professional, worked as a well oiled team and installed central air and a split in my basement. They arrived at 8am and by 3pm, everything was cleaned up and my house was nice and cool! My only regret is not calling them sooner!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been using Absolute Air and Power for over 10 years for both my AC and Heating needs. Their yearly service plan is extremely reasonable and worthwhile to keep your system in tip top shape for all the seasons. I've had a new AC system recently installed by Tom and his team -again the work was extremely professional. Working with Tom, his son, team and office managers is a pleasure, and I would highly recommend AAP to anyone with concerns of working with a trustworthy professional HVAC service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Responsive, reliable and most of all everything was high quality. I needed a new central air unit and furnace and from the initial appt to the installation, my entire experience exceeded expectations. I don’t highly recommend many companies but this one “absolutely” earned it.
